I wonder why???

It is half term and as usual I had prepared in advance how i would work and spend time with my daughter. Unfortunately on Sunday 12th she fell and broke her right clavicle. Now we are limited to what our day can consist of and my time is once again reduced due to being needed more than usual. The loss of the right hand is a challenge to a seven year old.....
Please check back in a weeks time to see if I have managed to upload the images of the dog coat and the cute little tartan westies I have made.

Its already February and my stock is still being created. I had a delay as I was creating Pantomime costumes and having to attend dress rehearsals for emergency alterations etc... finally this week back to normal mode and operation Sewnagain can start again... Created an amazing small dog tartan coat will load this weekend...

2012 has arrived

The festive cheer is fading in the household and routines are starting once again. The plans I had to stock the site have failed due to sickness in the family over the holiday break, though being the optimist I am the stock will be loaded for end of January.
Easter Bunting and fabric Easter Eggs, fleece Chicken jackets and Tartan Dog Coats are a few of the new items to be available.
I have sorted the fabric pile and am ready to set to work......

I have been handed some tartan fabric that will look fabulous when sewn into x-small doggy coats. My sewing machine is working flat out to get them ready before the cold weather sets in. They will be ideal for the cute teapot size dog.

Wow, finally I have managed to track down the Blog! My PC failed a couple of years ago and me being the ever optimist didn't do any form of back up or writing down of passwords etc so lost everything in one small spark!
Now my life is very different I backup, I write several copies of passwords etc so now I can start again with the Blog.

Things have changed here, I am now the main runner of the business as life's demands have altered the working dynamic of the other mums. I am still working as a nurse and in my free time enjoy sitting at my sewing machine creating items to be enjoyed by others.
The site Sewnagain.co.uk has been neglected some what whilst we made decisions on the running of the site etc. So from December 2011 the site will start to show life again with some vibrant colours and unique one off items for you and your home.

Munchkin mania

I am exhausted... sewing 8 munchkin outfits for the Wizard of Oz production showing end of Jan. My daughter and her best friend are in it and I commented somewhere during a casual chat that I could sew and now here I am sewing 8 dresses, then I need to do 8 poppies followed by flying monkeys... so I am busy juggling time to enable all sewing tasks to be achieved.
Just negotiated a shop window for the balloon weights. More orders also, so things are looking good.

Templates are finally all cut and ready for the off. Three new items joining the range end of next week.
Looking at a property with frontage so we can sell face to face as well as on line. Lots going on right now, just need to keep ahead of it all otherwise it could all create a huge headache.
Kids are in a local production end of Jan early Feb. Have costumes to get ready for 8 girls in total. They are all doing very well.
I can not believe how late it is, I will call it an end for today now and have an early start. Plenty of cutting out happening at the moment.

New design issues for website

Oh dear what seemed to be a simple change for the better has now resulted in a huge exercise and in the end the site design will return to its original state on Monday.
Too many what if this happens or what if that happens are causing confusion, so using the old adage don't change what ain't broken... its no longer changing...
My sewing machine is having a rest this weekend. Scissors are busy cutting new templates and designs are being sketched ready for new lines to be introduced for Valentines 2009.
